*** Says dialogue is the best way to peaceful resolution

By Mcanthony Onuoha

Association of Nigeria Customs Brokers- ANCB, has sent a goodwill message to Christians in the Maritime sector as they celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ

In the goodwill message signed by the National President of the Association, Chief Dr. Basil Nwolisa and made available to the Prestige Blended Magazine Online, he urged all freight forwarders to always show love to one another as Christ did by sacrificing His life for mankind on the Cross of Calvary.

The Maritime guru opined that without love individuals and nations would continue to face difficulties in personal development and nation building.

In his words,” l want all freight forwarders to eschew bitterness and divisiveness and love one another. We must tenaciously pursue our common interests by compelling terminal operators and shipping companies to operate within the ambit of extant laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as that will enhance ease of doing business.”

Dr. Nwolisa in the message, implored freight forwarders not to resort to violence while trying to reject unfriendly government policies but explore every avenue for peaceful negotiation and resolution, saying that it is the only way to achieve progress in all strata.

Meanwhile, he advised the Management of the Nigeria Customs Service-NCS to always embark on stakeholders sensitization before implementing fiscal policies as that would forestall crises in Nigerian Ports industry.
