DR AZEEZ MUSTAPHA PAYS A COURTESY VISIT TO ASIMPIN PG, FOUNDER OF NAGAFF

Dr. Azeez Abayomi Mustapha, FITMT, Rff, on Tuesday, 12th of August, 2025, paid courtesy visit to the President General of Association of Igbo Maritime Practitioners in Nigeria -ASIMPIN, and the Founder of National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders-NAGAFF.
The august visit to the two outstanding maritime personalities, the PG of ASIMPIN and Chairman, FANO GROUP, His Royal Majesty, Eze Amb Damian Emeka Obianigwe KSM, JP, and the Founder of NAGAFF and NNPP, Dr. Boniface Okechukwu Aniebonam, was to appreciate their input in the industry and the impact both giants have made in the lives of many.
In a conversation with His Royal Majesty, the PG of ASIMPIN, Dr. Mustapha expressed great delight for the privilege given to him to have heart to heart discussion with the Royal Father, describing it as an honour.
In his words, ” l am delighted to be here today. I decided to pay a courtesy call on the Royal Father so as to have the opportunity to commend him for his visionary leadership, his immense contributions to the maritime sector, and his tremendous impact on the lives of many. I have heard so many good things about the Royal Father, his generosity and wisdom as leader of a professional body and a traditional Ruler in his community. I thank him for giving me the opportunity to rub minds with him, and l hope and believe that he will give me more of his attention going forward. I will always come and tap from his blessings and his wisdom. He is a great man, and l want to say that ASIMPIN is blessed to have him as President General.

In his response, His Royal Majesty, the PG of ASIMPIN, thanked Dr. Mustapha for the recognition. He stated that the most valuable badge every man must have in his possession is integrity, saying that without it, a man is empty and can not be relied on. The Royal Father admonished the youths and young freight forwarders to always establish high level of trust in all their dealings with people.
Dr. Mustapha also met with the Founder of NAGAFF. He described Dr. Aniebonam as the Iroko of the maritime, stating that his contribution to the sector remains unquantifiable. He disclosed that his decision to embark on the courtesy call was fueled by what the two prominent maritime Practitioners have accomplished overtime, their amazing leadership records and their contributions to humanity. Dr. Mustapha stated that Dr. Aniebonam has built legacies that will outlive generations.
The NAGAFF Founder in his response, said he was happy to host Dr. Azeez Mustapha, and advised freight forwarders to invest in capacity building and self development.
” No time is late to get yourself upgraded, it is important to acquire knowledge, and it has no time limit. I am very proud of this young man, listening to him will give one an insight to his versatility, and l am glad he is a part of NAGAFF.
The industry needs those that have capacity and knowledge to effect significant changes. That is why l am advising the young ones to embark on self development.”
Dr. Azeez Mustapha thanked Dr. Aniebonam for giving him the opportunity to share a golden moment with him, saying that he won’t take the valuable attention he gave him for granted. He went ahead to urge various maritime associations to commit their time and apply diplomacy in the resolution of professional disputes or misunderstanding that are often fueled by government policies or operational challenges.
