ASIMPIN ISSUES CERTIFICATES OF RETURN TO NEWLY ELECTED CHAPTER EXECUTIVES

The electoral body of Association of Igbo Maritime Practitioners in Nigeria , ASIMPEC, on Tuesday, 13th of May, 2025, issued Certificates of Return to newly elected executives of various Chapters.
The event which was held at Umuoji Hall, Olodi Apapa, was attended by ASIMPIN National Officers, and members of Board of Trustees (BoT) led by the Board Secretary, Chief Dr. Eugene Nweke KSM.
The under listed elected officers of various Chapters of ASIMPIN, Western Zone, were issued Certificates of Return by ASIMPIN Electoral Committee Chairman, Mr. Chijioke Nkwazema.

Mr. Martins Ik.Peter as Vice Chairman, while elections for other offices are yet to be conducted.
Meanwhile, the KLT Chapter elections are also to be conducted by ASIMPEC in no distant time.
Speaking at the event, the Secretary of ASIMPIN Board of Trustees, Chief Dr. Eugene Nweke, called for unity and team work. He urged the new Chapter officers to carry everyone along and sincerely commit to the progress of ASIMPIN. Chief Nweke commended the selfless efforts of the President General of ASIMPIN, His Royal Majesty, Eze Amb. Damian Emeka Obianigwe KSM, JP, and urged the new officers to key into the President General’s vision for ASIMPIN.
Nweke reminded both National and Chapter officers of the task ahead, saying that what was needed to move ASIMPIN forward was teamwork and genuine commitment.
In his speech, the Chairman of ASIMPIN Electoral Committee, Mr. Chijioke Nkwazema, thanked members for their cooperation throughout the elections. He expressed satisfaction with the conduct of candidates during and after the elections adding that what manifested during the entire exercise was the true spirit of brotherhood. Nkwazema promised that the committee would conduct elections for all positions in Chapters where elections have not been concluded. He urged members of the apex Igbo maritime body to always unite for collective prosperity.
