BE REASONABLE !

Everytime l see people converge on a place discussing the pay slips of sportsmen and women, arguing about celebrities and their fees, politicians and their renumerations, l marvel at the immensity of their stupidity. Why, because there is no dime dropping into their pockets for discussing other people’s livelihood but rather, a sheer waste of manhour.
Career analysts are paid, and they do it because it is what puts food on their tables. I cannot just imagine myself sitting at a place, analysing issues that do not affect my life in any way, that would be a self demand for urgent psychiatry test.
Besides, folks who gather at strategic places to discuss people’s pay, l understand, do that because they are less busy or have nothing doing at that particular time, though l do agree that quite a number of them join in such discussions just to momentarily lighten their minds of some personal burdens.
I have personally witnessed where people fought dirty because of an argument that ensued during such discussion, and casualties were recorded at the end of the day. The most amazing thing was that those who formed the plank of the argument were in there homes or places of engagement, oblivious of the senseless clash of the idiots . What a futile exercise !
“Be reasonable” is not in anyway an insult. Some venture out every morning in search of argument spots, and going home after everything, they beg their ways back home. Once you step into your place of hustle, even though you have no tangible appointment for the day, do not join those who left their homes to lecture people on recent happenings in IPOB, MASSOB,Niger Delta Militants’ recent meetings and activities, Boko Haram insurgents and their sinister activities, Fulani Herdsmen and their onslaughts,and bandits causing havock across the country. You can only join the bandwagon once you make sure you have secured the amount that will take you home to see your family, having done that first, you can then join the unsalaried lecturers and unmoderated debaters; that, is more dignifying than to hop around like a rabbit at close of business taxing those who came out with you to hustle for their livelihood. It is time to be sincere to yourself .
