FOLASHADE, ADAKU, ADESHINA BAG COMTUA AWARDS
Three media practitioners were on Friday, the 25th of November, 2022 honoured by Council of Maritime Truck Unions and Associations (COMTUA) with prestigious media awards for their professionalism in news reportage.
ADAKU Onyenucheya of The Guardian newspaper, Folashade Aderohunmu of Anchor Maritime Today on Lagos Traffic Radio 96.1 FM and Mussadiq Adesina Elegbede were presented with Media Personalities of the Year Awards during COMTUA’s 2022 Annual Congress held at Providence Hotel, Ikeja Lagos.
Receiving the awards, the media practitioners expressed appreciation for what they described as pleasant surprise, adding that they never knew that their individual efforts could translate to such recognition. One of the awardees, Folashade Aderohunmu said she was delighted to be so honoured saying that the award will spur her and her colleagues to do more .
However, award of different categories also went to the Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, Lagos Governor, Mr.Babajide Sanwo- Olu, Hon. Jime Emmanuel, Executive Secretary, Nigerian Shipper’s Council (NSC) and Muhammad Bello- Koko, MD, Nigeria Ports Authority (NPA) and 23 others respectively.
