Engr. Martins C. Onyebuenyi To Bag National Impact Youth Ambassador Award
A US based Nigerian engineer, Martins Chijioke Onyebuenyi, has been nominated for NATIONAL IMPACT YOUTH AMBASSADOR AWARD by a collegiate media set up to carefully identify those who have distinguished themselves in their various fields of endeavour, to be honored at the 17th Anniversary of National Impact Glitz Magazine slated for 8th of August, 2026.
Engr. Onyebuenyi has not only distinguished himself in his chosen career but has tremendously impacted lives through his unquantifiable contributions to community development, capacity building programmes and youth empowerment.
Engr. Martins Chijioke Onyebuenyi is a US based Nigerian engineer, mentor, and public advocate whose career and community service reflect a lifelong commitment to excellence, integrity, and nation-building.
He earned his first degree in Chemical Engineering from the Institute of Management and Technology, IMT, Enugu, one of Nigeria’s foremost polytechnics. Driven by a pursuit of advanced knowledge and global exposure, he proceeded to the Prairie View A&M University, Texas, USA, where he also obtained a degree in Chemical Engineering. His academic foundation laid the groundwork for a career marked by technical competence and professionalism.
Engr. Onyebuenyi has garnered practical experience across the engineering field. He notably served as a Quality Control Engineer at TAS Energy Inc., where he was responsible for upholding industry standards, ensuring product reliability, and promoting best practices in manufacturing and process engineering. His work in the private sector reflects his attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and dedication to quality.
Beyond his professional accomplishment, Engr Onyebuenyi is deeply rooted in his community. He hails from Nriukwu Amaimo, an autonomous community carved out of Amuzu in Aboh Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo State, Nigeria. He carries the values of his heritage with pride — humility, hard work, and service to others.
His life has been marked by simplicity and integrity. These core principles have earned him the admiration of peers and made him a role model to countless youths both at home and in the diaspora.
