CHIEF EKWEOZOR INAUGURATED AS 3RD PRESIDENT OF ELITE FITNESS CLUB

High Chief Dr Azubuike Austin Ekweozor, Rff (Ide Umuawulu, Nwanayoeze) was on Saturday, December 9th, 2023 installed as the 3rd President of the Elite Fitness Club of Lagos.
The event which was graced by the crème de la crème in Nigeria took place at the popular Grand African Ballroom, Continental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Ide Umuawulu was inaugurated alongside his Vice, Chief Stephen Okoh and some eminent personalities as the executives who will help in piloting the affairs of the club.
High Chief Dr. Azubuike Austin Ekweozor, a registered Freight Forwarder with the Council for the Regulations of Freight Forwarding Practice in Nigeria hails from Umuawulu in Awka South Local Government Area, Anambra State.
He joined Elite Fitness Club fourteen years ago and has contributed immensely towards the growth of the club.
In his outgoing speech, The immediate past president of the club, High Chief Amobi Ike (Akuewebe na Utu) MD Sweet Home Bathroom & Accessories Ltd in, thanked the members of the club for their support to his administration and urged the new president to lead in a way that will ensure stability, peace and growth of the club.
He added that, the New administration can leverage on some positive impacts made by his administration to help in promoting and placing the club on an enviable position in the society.
Chief Ike called on club members, family, friends and associates to support the club financially to help the new administration succeed in executing the projects lined up for the coming year. He equally charged Ide Umuawulu and his executives to provide quality leadership that will lead to the growth of the club in terms of membership, activities and finances, while wishing them a successful tenure.
In his acceptance speech, Chief Ekweozor expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the club members for their support, prayers and well-wishes and also to his beautiful wife, Lolo Charity Ekweozor (Oji-Efi Ide Umuawulu) for her steadfastness and support.
He said, “We all know that the journey has not been an easy one. Elite fitness club has evolved and will continue evolving with time. I would also like to use this opportunity to appreciate the efforts of our outgoing President and his team, our Grand Patron and Patrons, our amiable BOT and distinguished members for their sacrifices all year round, we’re proud of their achievements”.
He concluded that top on their projects list as the new executives of Elite club is to secure a conducive club house within a reasonable location in the coming year and they are counting on the support of every member towards achieving the great feat.
The event which attracted captains of industry, traditional rulers and people from all walks of life, had in attendance the Managing Director of Zenco Group of Companies, Cletus Uzoezie Oragwa(Owner of D’General Bitters), Joseph Ezeokafor (Jowi Zaza), Mr Kingsley Okpala (CEO of New Age Mobile Concepts Limited), President of Diamond Fitness Club, High Chief Dr. Frank Okafor (Igwulube Idemili North & South), CEO of Bozac Group Nigeria Limited, Chief Patrick Chibueze(Akuzulumba na Oraukwu), Blow Money, President of F15 club of Nigeria, Chief Chinedu Akajiobi, Grand Patron of Elite Fitness Club, High Chief Augustine Okoli (Ezeudo Oshimili), the traditional ruler of Ojoto community, HRH Igwe Gerald Obunadike Mbamalu (Ezeoranyelu 1 of Ojoto), traditional ruler of Umuawulu community, Igwe Dr. Joel Maduadichie Egwuowu FIAMN (JP) among others.
