UNIQUE MARITIME CLUB INAUGURATES NEW EXECUTIVE MEMBERS.
** As President General, Fwdr. Tochukwu Ezisi tasks members on love for one another

It was all fun as Unique Maritime Club (UMC) converged on Santiago Milan Hotel and Suites Amuwo Odofin on Sunday the 29th of May 2022, to inaugurate its newly elected executive.
In his welcome address, the President General of the Club and President of National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders – NAGAFF, Chief Fwdr. Tochukwu Ezisi, expressed gratitude to God Almighty for His mercies upon members and their families, Ezisi in his address, told members that the Club was family oriented and that while members of the club work in the field, they are also reminded to always put their families into consideration before taking decisions.
The PG who disclosed that the utmost priority of the Club was members welfare, appealed to the newly elected officials to remain committed to the Club and always show love to one another.
In his address, the Organizing Committee Secretary, Fwdr. Okey Nerus, described the Club as one big happy family, in his words, ” this is the 3rd set of executive to pilot the affairs of Unique Maritime Club. The Club, by the grace of God, has become one big happy family and we appreciate the efforts of individual members, most especially, the immense contributions of our PG, Chief Fwdr. Tochukwu Ezisi.
Nerus disclosed that the Club was open for intending members not only from the Maritime sector but would welcome to the fold, people from Border Stations and Airports.
Fwdr. Okey Nerus reiterated that the supreme objective of the Club was to form a bond that would continue to be of mutual benefit to members.
Chief Fwdr. Tochukwu Ezisi, who was reelected for a second term as President General of the Club, took the oath of office alongside eight others ; and they are : Chief Holwen Iheme, Deputy President General, Fwdr. Chidi Egemba, Secretary, Fwdr. Anthony C. Nwaogu, Financial Secretary, Fwdr. Charles Oluigbo, Assistant Secretary, Fwdr. Isaac Ndukwe, Public Relations Officer (P.R.O), Fwdr. Ehijene Onyeisi Frank, Treasurer, Fwdr. Ishmael Chukwunyere, Welfare Officer and Fwdr. Chijioke Odilienye, Provost.
In his acceptance speech, the President General, Chief Fwdr. Tochukwu Ezisi, promised to use the fresh mandate given to him to make the Club the pride of every member, but solicited for unalloyed support and commitment of members as well as love for one another. Ezisi went further to demonstrate the love by instantaneously gifting over ten women who are wives of Unique Maritime Club members that accompanied their husbands to the event with Hundred thousand Naira (N100,000.00) each. The PG said the cash gift was to encourage companionship and family bonding adding that the Club prioritises members welfare. Those who benefited from his generosity joyfully expressed their appreciation to the President General while praying for God’s blessings and protection upon him.
Members of Unique Maritime Club meet last Saturday of every month at Royal Vintage Hotel Amuwo Odofin and the time is 3PM.
Meanwhile, the President General of the Club, Chief Fwrd. Tochukwu Ezisi, was at the inaugural event, honoured with Great Achiever’s Award by The Prestige Blended Magazine as OUTSTANDING MARITIME PERSONALITY, in commemoration of its 9th Anniversary.
The event was graced by friends and families of Club Members as well as notable Maritime Practitioners.
