ASIMPIN TO HONOUR ITS PRESIDENT GENERAL ON HIS CORONATION ANNIVERSARY

The Association of Igbo Maritime Practitioners in Nigeria (ASIMPIN) has announced its official participation in the forthcoming Coronation Anniversary/Ofala of its President General, His Royal Highness, Eze Amb. Damian Emeka Obianigwe, KSM, JP.,
Ezeoha, Obi of Isi Ihiteowerri, scheduled to hold on 30th December 2025.
At a recent Joint Meeting of its Board of Trustees (BoT) and National Executive Council (NEC), ASIMPIN resolved to formally identify with, and honour its President General(PG) in recognition of his outstanding leadership and selfless service to humanity, as well as his immense contributions to the maritime industry and to the Igbo nation.
In the press release signed by the Chairman, ASIMPIN Board of Trustees, Dim Peter Obih, RFF,
he stated that decision was collectively taken by the Board, noting that His Royal Highness has consistently demonstrated uncommon commitment to professional unity, industry development, and community upliftment—standing with colleagues in moments of joy and adversity alike.
As part of its engagement strategy, he assured that ASIMPIN would leverage digital and social media platforms to amplify awareness, promote industry participation, and project the significance of the Ofala celebration within the maritime and business community.
ASIMPIN in the statement, beckoned on industry stakeholders, professional colleagues, and well-wishers to join in celebrating a leader whose reign exemplifies humility, integrity, and service.
