National Compliance Joint Taskforce of Licensed Clearing Agents- NCJTFLCA on Wednesday, 10th of December 2025, marked her three(3) years anniversary with pomp and funfair.

The event, which held at the main hall of Rockview Hotel and Suites, FESTAC Town, Amuwo Odofin, Lagos, was a convergence of industry stakeholders, not excluding friends and business associates of the President, High Chief Dr. Basil Chudi Nwolisa, who incidentally marked his birthday simultaneously.

Present at the event were key members of various Maritime associations, Captains of Industry and anti corruption advocates.

Speaking at the event, the National President of NCJTFLCA, High Chief Dr Basil Chudi Nwolisa, described his team as patriotic, applauding their commitment to the struggle of rescuing the country from those who have sworn to see it completely enmeshed in the drift nets of corruption.

According to Nwolisa, “it takes commitment and patriotism to achieve what NCJTFLCA has achieved in three years. We started out very determined to confront a system poised to strangulate the economy of this nation by refusing to be compliant in all sector, always working against policies aimed at lifting people out of poverty. Three years down the line, the fire ignited by our collective desire for change still rages, and we are ever ready to intensify the fire.”

“Nigeria belongs to all of us, and we are expected to protect her image and serve her with all our strength.
Today, l am happy to announce to you that NCJTFLCA is recognized nationwide, and we are proud of the synergies we are building with anti corruption agencies and Civil Society groups just in three years of existence.”

Meanwhile, the advocacy group, during the occasion, inaugurated the KLT Chapter.
The inaugurated members of the Chapter include, Jude Chukwuma as Chairman, Ukachukwu Azubuike as Secretary and Martin Igweagu as Member of the Task force.

Speaking during the inauguration, Nwolisa tasked the new officers on integrity, and urged them to be patriotic and shun corruption in whatever guise.

He appealed to maritime practitioners to be compliant to trade rules and avoid any deliberate infraction in their declarations, warning that any act of circumvention could be an easy way to jail.

The highpoint of the event was the birthday segment. Family, friends and professional colleagues of Dr. Nwolisa joined the veteran Customs Broker and President of Association of Nigerian Customs Brokers (ANCB) in thanksgiving to God Almighty for an additional year.

Some of those gathered seized the unique opportunity to extol the virtues of the Anti- Corruption Crusader, and prayed God Almighty to grant him the grace for longevity in good health, sound mind and continued prosperity.
