Dr. Nwolisa commended the CGC on the measures his administration has put in place to rattle transborder smuggling and curbing the activities of illicit drug peddlers as well as proliferation of arms and other lethal weapons that are smuggled into the country.
Nwolisa also appealed to the CGC to sell overtime cargoes to importers who had paid their duties but were overwhelmed by over 350% rent increase by Shipping and Terminal Operators.
The Head, Customs, Shipping Companies and Terminal Operations of Importers Association of Nigeria (IMAN), described Comptroller Adeniyi as a seasoned Administrator, great performer, and a round peg in a round hole, adding that the organization would fare much better under his administration as Customs Comptroller General.
