CONMMEP COMMISERATES WITH MWUN ON THE DEATH OF ITS CHIEF ACCOUNTANT
The President of Congress of Nigerian Martime Media Practitioners, CONMMEP. Alh. Tunde Umar Daniah and his members have commiserated with President General, Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria, MWUN, Com. Prince Adeyanju Adewale and the entire MWUN on the demise of it’s Chief accountant, Com. Timothy Olufemi Olorunsola.
Daniah prayed the Almighty to give MWUN and the immediate family of the departed the fortitude to bear the painful loss.
Com. Timothy O. Olorunsola who hails from ondo joined the then autonomous union of Nigerian Ports Authority later amalgamated as a branch of MWUN as clerical account officer and through dint of hard rose through the ranks to attain the prestigious position of chief accountant of the union.
According to a statement from MWUN, Com. Olorunsola until his death served the union diligently, faithfully and in total Commitment to duty.
“With a deep sense of loss, we announce the sudden and painful demise of the union’s chief accountant, com. Timothy Olufemi Olorunsola, yesterday being Wednesday 13th July 2022 here in lagos.
“We pray for the repose of his beautiful soul and pray that God grant the family and the union the fortitude to bear this loss”, MWUN said in a statement.
