ASIMPIN, PTML CHAPTER HOLDS AN INCLUSIVE MEETING TO KICK START ACTIVITIES FOR THE YEAR

Association of Igbo Maritime Practitioners in Nigeria(ASIMPIN), PTML Chapter, penultimate week, held an inclusive meeting to kick start the year’s activities.


The meeting, which was attended by members of PTML Chapter of ASIMPIN also had Chairmen of all Chapters, and some National Officers in attendance, including some key members of the association.


In his welcome address, the Chairman of ASIMPIN, PTML Chapter, Chief Sonny Ugorji, profoundly appreciated them for making out time to honour his invitation. He expressed gratitude to God Almighty for granting those who traveled to their various states during Yuletide, safe trips all through, saying he was delighted to have the membership of PTML Chapter intact, hale and hearty.


According to Chief Ugorji, “that most of us traveled to our various states to see our loved ones and came back safely is worth returning all the glory to God Almighty. It is a thing of joy and thanksgiving. I am glad that the membership of PTML is intact, and everyone is hale and hearty, and l believe that our families are in good condition.”


” This meeting holding today is very important, and that is why l invited my colleagues from other Chapters, some National officers and some key members of our great to come and join in thanksgiving for God’s mercies upon us, our business and our various families. I profoundly appreciate everyone here present for making out time to grace my invitation.”


Continuing, Chief Ugorji said, “I want to convey my gratitude to the President General of ASIMPIN, His Royal Highness, Eze Amb.Damian Emeka Obianigwe KSM, JP, for his fatherly disposition, leadership ingenuity, and all his sacrifices that have kept the association afloat and very strong all these years. I want to thank the representatives of the PG, The National Secretary of ASIMPIN, Prince Okey Egbuchulam, and Head of Special Duties, ASIMPIN Headquarters, Mcanthony Onuoha. I also appreciate the presence of ASIMPIN Chieftain, Chief Ossy Okolichi (Ezebo), and my fellow Chairmen, Chief Isaac Ndukwe(Enyioha), Chairman, ASIMPIN Tincan Chapter, Chief Tony Onuoha, Chairman, Apapa Chapter, Chief Banabas Ikpe , Chairman, Ikorodu Chapter, and Chief Chukwuma Eze, Vice Chairman, Tincan Chapter. And our Patron, Chief Charles Nwarienne, Chairman, Association of Nigerian Customs Licensed Agents (ANLCA), PTML Chapter. And all our Exco and members, once again, l appreciate all of you.”


“In line with the vision of the National leadership of our great association, we at PTML will always align with the blueprint and all action plans of the PG to grow our Chapter, but giving utmost priority to members welfare”.

 


In keep alive the mantra of ASIMPIN which is “Onye aghala nwanne ya,” voluntary donations were made by Chief Ossy Okolichi and all the Chapter Chairmen to support the leadership of PTML Chapter.
