Amiable, focused and hard-working, he is the MD/CEO of MUNALOUIS NIG. LTD, a Customs Licenced Agency that specializes in freight forwarding and operates at Seaports, Airports and Border Stations.

From Mbaukwu, Awka South Local Government Area of Anambra State, Chuka Louis is a seasoned Customs Broker who ventured into maritime business as a very young man in 1997,and has been in the business of Cargo clearing and sundry maritime services till date. He registered his Company MUNALOUIS Nig. Ltd., in April, 2010 and has recorded tremendous progress ever since.

INSPIRATION :

According to Chuka Louis, his venture into the maritime industry was inspired by his elder brother who was at that time doing very well as a freight forwarder. He disclosed that his brothers achievements made him to have very strong interest in the business and that informed his curiosity to learn and master the business which to the glory of God, has made him to accomplish a lot for himself.

” The only way any one can succeed in this field is by being honest and trustworthy. Once you venture into the industry as a fresher, try to learn the job first, master documentation and take detailed notice of every operational procedure, there is no way one can be successful as a clearing agent without learning the job.”

“Secondly , being truthful and honest are the two things that determine your progress as a freight forwarder since no one likes to put his investment in the trust of a dishonest person, that is why some people clearing agents keep struggling everyday without any major accomplishment.

So l advise the young ones to be focused, committed and trustworthy, they must first of all, learn the job because information is the key, once they prove themselves worthy of trust, success is assured !”
