ISAAC NDUKWE CONFERRED WITH CHIEFTAINCY TITLE AS ENYI OHA 1, OF UMUAWA ALAOCHA ANCIENT KINGDOM

The incoming Chairman of Association of Igbo Maritime Practitioners in Nigeria -ASIMPIN Tincan Chapter, has been conferred with a chieftaincy title by His Royal Majesty, Eze Godswill Asomugha, AWA 2, of Umuawa Alaocha Ancient Kingdom of Ohuhu, Umuahia North, Abia State.
Mazi Isaac Ndukwe (Okwadike) and his wife Mrs. Anthonia Ngozi Ndukwe, on Saturday, the 3rd of May, 2025, joined the prestigious league of title holders at a well attended event held at Bucknor Estate, Ejigbo, Isolo, Lagos State.
Speaking before the coronation, the Royal Father described Mazi Isaac Ndukwe as a rare pedigree, saying that his humility and trustworthiness as a business man, are worthy of emulation. He further disclosed that Ndukwe has never been locked up and has never been accosted or interrogated by either the police, the DSS or any government agency for engaging in any fraudulent activity for close to three decades he started out as a Customs Licensed Agent, stating that the unique qualities embedded in Ndukwe’s character endeared him to his Kingdom, prompting his decision to confer him with a chieftaincy title.
The event was graced by Ndukwe’s family members, friends and professional colleagues. A good number of members of Association of Igbo Maritime Practitioners in Nigeria (ASIMPIN) were in attendance. Members of Unique Maritime Club led by Chief Howell Iheme, were also at the event, as well as title holders and community leaders.

In his speech, Chief Isaac Ndukwe advised those in business to always be mindful of their relationships with people, stressing that “good name is better than riches”. He stated that leadership was a responsibility because leaders are expected to serve others. He promised that his administration as ASIMPIN, Tincan Chapter Chairman would change the narrative and reposition the Chapter for greater glory.
The event ended on a very peaceful note.
