CHIEF SONNIEL ONOCHIE CONGRATULATES NEW ANLCA BOARD OF TRUSTEES

Chief Sonniel Ebonyem Onochie has congratulated the new members of Association of Nigeria Licenced Customs Agent – ANLCA Board of Trustees (BoT) on their emergence.

The election which held on the 12th of September 2024, at the Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, was keenly contested by top members of the Association.
The newly elected BoT members are : Taiwo Mustapha, Ernest Elochukwu, Kingsley Offor, Dennis Okafor, Sunday Momoh, Dayo Azeez, Sanni Utai, Tunde Awonuga, and Ademola Mumuney.
In the congratulatory message he personally signed and made available to The Prestige Magazine, the MD/CEO of Real Passion Nigeria Limited, and Chieftain of ANLCA, described the election as “keenly contested but peaceful”. Chief Onochie stressed the need for total reconciliation if ANLCA must regain the support, loyalty and admiration it used to enjoy from freight forwarders and other maritime stakeholders.
According to Chief Onochie, “the election has come and gone, and the only thing that we need dearly as an association is undiluted peace and lasting cohesion. A new BoT have emerged, and we pray God to grant them the wisdom and knowledge to bring both parties together, because without peace and collaboration, there will be no progress.”

” I am optimistic that the new BoT will not disappoint us. ANLCA has faced a lot of crises in the recent years, we can not continue in that trajectory, it was an evil wind that blows no one any good.”
” I also wish to commend the conduct of the Chieftains who lost in that election, they must not give up on the leadership of ANLCA. They should join hands and make the Association and the industry great again.”
