The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Jesus Palace, Igbe Lara, Ikorodu, Lagos, on Sunday, 25th of May, 2025, marked its Tenth year anniversary.
(Pastor Francis Aniezechukwu)
The beautiful church auditorium, was filled with excited Christian faithful, Ministers of the gospel, family, friends, and professional colleagues of the Minister in charge, Pastor Francis Aniezechukwu.
Ministers took their turn to deliver their messages. Some of the Ministers that graced the event commended Pastor Aniezechukwu, his wife, and members of the branch for their relentless efforts that saw to the speedy erration of the church auditorium and its rapid numerical growth.
The celebration remained at its crescendo as gospel artists and the choir continued to dish out spirit awakening songs that kept everyone dancing and praising God Almighty.
Ministers took their turns to eulogize Pastor Aniezechukwu, as some described him as a humble servant who has great passion for the service of God and humanity. Adding that his passion and level of dedication cleared every doubt about the rapid growth of the branch within ten years.
Among the Ministers were Pastor Olusegun Olakulehin Oluwalana, the Assistant Provincial Pastor for LP22, referred by many as the “walking Bible”, Pastor Anthony Ebeh, the Pioneer Pastor of RCCG General Assembly Parish till 2013. He is currently the Pastor in charge of Fountain of Grace Zonal Headquarters. And Pastor Godwin Obadan, presently, serving as the Pastor in charge of Lagos Province 45, Liberty Parish, Aguda, Surulere, among others.
The Host Pastor, Francis Aniezechukwu, at the event, unveiled his 3rd book titled, “The Greatest Loser”. The book explains how missed opportunities define one’s destiny. It shades more light on the sobering truth that many who were called, positioned and resourced by God, still ended up disqualified, not because they lacked potential, but because they failed to respond rightly to divine opportunities. With piercing insight and powerful biblical exposition, the author explores twelve categories of people who lost their place in destiny, some through fear, others through offense, delay, unfaithfulness, or unpreparedness. But their stories, according to the Author, were not presented to shame the victim but to awaken, to realign, and to redeem.
