FWRD. AZEEZ MUSTAPHA CONFERRED WITH HONORARY DOCTORATE DEGREE BY EUROPEAN- AMERICAN UNIVERSITY

The Managing Principal of AZ De World Cargo Logistics Limited, Fwdr. Azeez Abayomi Mustapha, Rff, FITMT, has been conferred with an Honorary Doctorate Degree by European American University, Republic of Panama.
Fwdr. Mustapha received an Honorary Doctor of Arts degree in Strategic Business Development and Logistics Management on Saturday, 29th of March, 2025.
Born to the family of Alhaji Abass Mustapha, in Ajebo, Obafemi Owode Local Government Area of Ogun State.
Young Azeez attended Baptist Primary School, Kosofe and later, Orisigun High School where he obtained his Senior Secondary School Certificate.
He later secured admission into Lagos State Polytechnic for his Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Business Administration and later proceeded to Yaba College of Education, where he bagged a Higher National Diploma(HND) in the same Business Administration.
Because he acknowledges the importance of education to an entrepreneur, he was admitted into Redeemer’s University for a Higher Diploma in Freight Forwarding and International Freight Forwarding & Supply Chain Management. And a Higher Diploma Certificate in Supply Chain from FIATA.
Dr. Azeez Abayomi Mustapha, is a seasoned freight forwarder and logistics provider. The Managing Principal of AZ Logistics Limited, and Co CEO, Blue Ocean Cycle Limited. He ventured into freight forwarding subsector in the year 2000, and on 13th of September, 2010, he founded and registered AZ De World Cargo Logistics Limited, after a decade of very committed apprenticeship and enrollment for relevant professional courses, he brilliantly diversified into Ocean freight, Air Freight, DDU, DDP and EXW, Door to Door Delivery, Project Handling, Break Bulk, Customs Clearance, International Freight Forwarding, Government Agency Relations, Import and Export, Documentation and International Trade Consultancy.
With a staff strength of 20, directly in his employ, and over 25 auxiliary staff in charge of field operations, the company has continued to grow in leaps and bounds, leveraging information Technology(IT) and capacity building programmes available on professional platforms.
With a robust number of clients from the food industry to solar industry, automobile, IT, Telecom, Electrical/ Electronics, Power Sector, Pharmaceutical, Transportation industry, Offshore support, project Cargo and special Transportation as well as patronage by State governments and private importers. The company has continued to professionally offer a comprehensive range of freight forwarding and logistics services.
Dr. Azeez Mustapha is a member of World Partner Alliance (WPA), Member, Special Freight Network (SFN), China Logistics Club (CLC), Freight Network Corporation (FNC), and Fellow, The Institute of Management Specialists(UK), Fellow, Institute of Transport and Management Technology( FITMT), and Member, Ikeja Golf Club.
His philosophy is that “life is a Journey of continuous learning where each experience, whether joyful or challenging, offers an opportunity for growth”. And his perception about life and living centers around growth, connection and adaptability.
His hobbies are reading, playing golf and listening to Old School Music, while his best moment is hanging out with his family.
Dr. Azeez Abayomi Mustapha is happily married to a beautiful wife and they are blessed with lovely children.
