Way back from year 2000, when the world ushered in a brand new millennium, innovative ideas started birthing millennium wonders as technological advancement became the order of the day.
The new millennium did not only come with technological advancement alone, it introduced new approach to corporate leadership and service, which have been made easier by digitalization and lately, the deployment of Artificial Intelligence which drives automation.
Administrative sagacity is the quality of having or showing keen understanding and the ability to make good, insightful administrative decisions. It implies wisdom, foresight, and discernment in managing and leading administrative functions. There is no way we can divorce information or knowledge from leadership.
Today, the world is referred to as a “Global Village” due to digitalization and myriads of technological innovations that enable development. Information gathering and sharing can be done at the speed of lightning, systems have transmuted from analogue to digital as organizations and groups now look out for well informed people to run their affairs because no reconstructed society can be built by unreconstructed individuals.
National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders- NAGAFF, Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) Chapter needs an informed and charismatic leader. It is not all about occupation of administrative position, but having a thorough bred professional, who can stand up at any time to advance the cause of the association and also make sure it is not shortchanged when the chips are down.
NAGAFF, MMIA Chapter, needs a dynamic leader who has the charisma and personal resources to bring back the glory it enjoyed during the time of Dr. Segun Musa.
This very search for the next Chairman of NAGAFF, MMIA Chapter, will not go beyond the Chapter. Someone from the Chapter must take over the mantle of leadership from the current chairman who has done his best.
The good news is that NAGAFF has a capable hand that can make tremendous difference as MMIA Chapter Chairman. He is the current secretary of NAGAFF, MMIA Chapter, a logistics expert as well as a thorough bred administrator, and he is no other person than the MD/CEO of Innostar Logistics Services, Rotrn. Fwdr. Innocent Abu .
Rotrn. Fwdr. Innocent Abu is from Auchi in Edo State, and if l am asked, l will say that his coming from the South- South qualifies him to be the next Chairman of NAGAFF, MMIA Chapter, since no one from that geographical Zone has held the position.
Fwdr. Abu holds a Master’s Degree in Public and International Affairs from the University of Lagos.
And a second Master’s Degree in Marketing from the same University.
