The Tincan Chapter Chairman of National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders, Fwdr. Dr. Emeka Paul Chiedozie, was on Friday, 13th of December, inducted as Fellow, Institute of Transport and Management Technology (ITMT), formally, Institute of Air Travel and Maritime Studies.

The induction proper was held on Saturday, 23rd November, 2024 at the 27th Convocation and Matriculation ceremony which also coincided with the 40th anniversary of the Institute.

 

Chief (Dr.) Emeka Paul Chiedozie who was unavoidably absent at the event proper, got the nod of the management of the Institute, to be decorated on a later date. Today ( Friday), the Management, led by the Director of the Institute, Mrs. Cynthia Chidera Ahamafule, were welcomed by Dr. Chiedozie in his Apapa office where his fellowship of the Institute was formalized.

 

The Institute of Transport and Management Technology (ITMT) was established in 1984. The school is approved by the State and Federal governments. It is equally recognized by the Federal ministry of Education, approved and supervised by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE), which overseas the academic programme of polytechnics and other allied higher Institutions.

Furthermore, the Institute is an approved training center for many professional bodies, such as Chartered Institute of Transport and Administration, Chartered Institute of Aviation Management of Nigeria and a host of others. It is affiliated to the Sea Farers Association of Nigeria which enables the cadets to licence to work on board ship at the end of their educational career.

Chief Dr. Emeka Paul Chiedozie is a seasoned freight forwarder, and MD/ CEO of Seagold Maritime Services Limited. He holds an Honourary Doctorate Degree from European American University, Republic of Panama, and other certifications for seminars and series of professional workshops, he is also a graduate of NAGAFF Academy, an affiliate of Redeemer’s University.

He passed through the tutelage of the Founder of National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders – NAGAFF, Dr. Boniface Okechukwu Aniebonam, and has put close to two decades in the maritime industry. He is a Chieftain of NAGAFF and Chairman, Tincan Chapter of the Association.

 

A maritime Unionist and Philanthropist, Dr. Chiedozie has always been an advocate of good governance, always preaching fairness and equity. His large heartedness has endeard him to myriad of people, not only that, his philanthropic disposition has overtime, singled him out for honour.

 

His company, Seagold Maritime Services Limited, has employed over 30 people, who work either as direct staff or contractors.

 

Dr. Chiedozie has always said that, ” a real man is that man that takes good care of his family, always providing for his home. It is not about making all the money and lavishing them on frivolities while your home lacks almost every good thing. Always make sure things are put in order the way they should.”

 

His favorite food is rice and vegetables while his hobby is Soccer game.

 

Fwdr. Dr. Emeka Paul Chiedozie is married to delectable Mrs. Nancy Chiedozie, and they are blessed with lovely children.
