APFFLON CONGRATULATES AKUVUE AS NASAN ELECTS NEW PG

Africa Association of Professional Freight Forwarders and Logistics of Nigeria, APFFLON, has congratulated Dr. Innocent Akuvue having been elected President General of the association for a two year tenure.
The new President General, who emerged winner in a keenly contested election, was President of Rivers/ Bayelsa Shippers Association (RIBASA).
In a congratulatory letter signed by the National President of APFFLON, Otunba Frank Ogunojemite, and made available to The Prestige Blended Magazine Online, the association expressed happiness over his election, describing him as a core Maritime Personality who has garnered quality professional experiences in his area of operation.

APFFLON added that at a very critical time as this in the industry’s history, core professionals are needed to contribute to its revitalization as it has become very important to reposition the sector in other for it to be ranked high in the comity of maritime nations .
APFFLON urged the New President General to collaborate with Maritime stakeholders to have a second look at those procedures and processes that make clearing, importation and exportation very cumbersome and unattractive, insisting that synergy remains the best way to achieve the goal.
Meanwhile, the maritime advocacy group called on those elected with the PG, to support him in other to make his tenure a very remarkable one.
Among the executive members elected include; Muhammed Jamilu Umar, as Vice President; Ijeoma Ezeosor, as Secretary General; Barr. Ibrahim Mustapha, as Assistant Secretary; Ayo Odekunle, as Treasurer; Otaka Kalu Uche, as Financial Secretary, as Muazu Yakubu was elected National Welfare Officer.
